TRUMP SCREWING IN FRONT OF TRUMP TOWER

Alison Jackson is a British artist known for her photographs and videos that recreate intimate scenes of public figures using look-alikes, exploring the fine line between reality and fiction in celebrity culture. In 2016, Jackson staged a performance in New York featuring a Trump look-alike surrounded by women in bikinis, sparking media attention and debate about the public perception of political leaders.

In November 2020, Jackson unveiled an art installation on Brewery Street, Soho, London, depicting figures of Trump and a woman in an explicit scene on a table. This piece was part of her direct critique of Trump (she seems somewhat obsessed with him). The installation was eventually removed by authorities due to its controversial content.

This past week, she’s been taking that same piece around the streets of New York, leaving it right in front of Trump Tower at 725 Fifth Avenue until the police showed up to remove it.

FROM SACRED RITE TO RELIGIOUS TABOO: THE JOURNEY OF THE HAND

Throughout history, masturbation wasn’t just accepted—it was celebrated by various ancient cultures and vastly different societies, even those with no connection to each other. In civilizations like the Egyptians, Greeks, Mayans, and Romans, masturbation was seen as natural and even sacred. For example, the ancient Egyptians believed that the god Atum created the universe through masturbation, while the Mayans incorporated sexuality into rituals to honor fertility and cosmic balance. The Greeks, on their part, viewed masturbation as a healthy, even necessary, practice.

It’s fascinating that these cultures, despite being geographically and culturally isolated, shared a similar view of masturbation as a positive, normal part of human life. There was no shame or stigma; quite the opposite, it was sometimes encouraged as a way to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

But with the rise and spread of the Christian Church, which eventually came to dominate much of the Western world, this perception changed drastically. Masturbation was demonized and labeled as a grave sin, framed as an impure act offensive to the divine. The Church’s teachings fostered guilt and sexual repression, standing in stark contrast to the acceptance and normalcy given to it by ancient civilizations.

And it makes sense: for the Church to impose such harsh prohibitions on masturbation, it must have been a widely practiced and accepted part of society. You don’t go out of your way to ban something that’s insignificant or rare. Repression arises when a behavior is so visible and commonplace that it threatens the moral order being imposed. So, while it’s not like you’d see everyone around you openly masturbating, it was probably much more accepted and widespread than official history would have us believe.

I THINK I’VE FOUND THE KEY

And, considering all that, I have to wonder: With everyone happier, better rested, and full of positive energy, could we start caring more about world peace and genuinely getting involved in fixing the planet’s problems? Because if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that a more relaxed and harmonious world is capable of so much more. So, at the end of the day, if we want to make the world a better place, maybe the answer is simple: more sex for everyone.
