THE RETRO MOMENT OF THE DAY: ANN HOWE

Ann Howe was an actress who appeared in the 1967 film Strange Rampage, directed by Harry Kerwin. The movie is a comedy that presents several case studies of women who are psychologically affected by loneliness. Through the narrative of a psychoanalyst, different stories of lonely women in an urban society are explored.

As for Ann Howe, she is known to have played the role of Ann Rowe in this film and also appeared in another movie called Lullaby of Bareland (1964), suggesting that she was active in underground cinema at the time, particularly in low-budget or cult films.

The film Strange Rampage is a curiosity from the 1960s, focusing on the inner struggles and psyche of women in a socially oppressive context.
